On the opposite, Gamboa do Morro is an authentic and quiet fishing
village.Its
welcoming jetty is lined by restaurants where it is a pleasure to drink a
caipirinha, with the feet in the sea.
Tinhare Island
Located
80 kms from Salvador de Bahia, Tinharé is part of the archipelago of three
islands : Boipeba, Cairu and Tinhare. This isle still keeps great parts of its
original atlantic forest. Wonderful beaches
with warm and clear water are
protected from the ocean swell by coral reefs. Cars are prohibited
except services, therefore Tinhare keeps its peaceful and natural aspect.
Morro de Sao Paulo

jetty for boats from Salvador de Bahia, Morro de Sao Paulo, is a very tourist
village, where a young and festive cosmopolitan population have a wild time. The
village offers more than 50 inns (pousadas), dozens of restaurants and shops. A great variety of
cooking is to be tasted. The activity is very exuberant specially in the evening
and at night.
